​Animal Science

This class will work their way through The Burgess Animal Book For Children! We will learn about all of the mammals in North America: their habitats, how they look, what they eat as well as their family order. Fun projects and activities will accompany chapters. Each student will make an animal journal documenting all they learn.

Crazy 8's

This class is to help the kids practice math facts while having fun. Each week we will work on a different planned activity to sharpen their adding and subtracting skills.

Creative Fitness

Students will have fun practicing large motor skills by learning a variety of activities including individual sports, team sports and foundations needed for physically active lives.  In these activities, there will occasionally be elements of music and drama to promote creativity and self-expression.  A portion of the class will be set aside to learn basic foundations of American Sign Language.

The Human Body

All creation is awe-inspiring, but the work of the human body, created in the very image of God, is especially jaw-dropping! This study of anatomy and physiology showcases the intricacy and design of the human body, from DNA and cell creation to the skeletal, muscular, digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular, nervous/endocrine, immune, and intergumentary systems. Integrated with health and nutrition information, as well as plenty of scripture and biblical application.
